Member of the League of Losers is the one who although practiced with persistence:
- always sit on the bench whenever their team plays a sport match;
- never have the ball (like in a basketball game) more than 30 seconds, and always told to pass on the ball to others;
- never been chosen to join the starters team for a sport match;
- play the sport match whenever the team has already sure that they will certainly win the competition, no matter the result of the match will be;
- never win the writing competition (competition for the most neat writing of the class/school); etc.
- they want to make sure their winning opportunity and possibility; and
- we don't have enough talent to increase such winning probability.
It is definitely NOT FAIR because:
- Talents are not everything. Endeavour and self determination are.
- Winning is not the everything and the ultimate thing in life. What matters are:
- how we conceive, and act upon such victory or loss, and
- how we achieve such victory.
- do not dishearten us, do not belittle our effort to excel, and do not discourage our effort to survive this life and world;
- instead, encourage our self determination, and effort.
- do not dishearten us, do not belittle our spirit to join in your victory and share your loss;
- winning is good, but triumph by remembering us is better;
- be our heroes, and perhaps you will experience the meaning of winning triumphantly...
Luckily, most member of the League of Losers never, and should never cease in effort to excel and success. We still and must remember:
- Tortoise is definitely the champion of the race against the snob hare.
- "Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration." [Thomas A. Edison]*
- Winner is the one whose efforts are more than his/her losses.
